Best Drama Addict
June 21, 2012 in Drama, Featured Post, Korean Drama I Love
Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Mexican and even Filipino dramas. I guess, drama series are really addicting.
My husband told me that if there was an award that I am very capable to receive is being a , certified “Korean drama addict” because of my korean dvd collections. To date, i have 95 , korean, taiwanese and some chinese drama series but most of them are really koreans. I even told my husband that it was not even hundreds, so i could not really say that I’m an addict (LOL). Maybe, i can agree with him when it pass my bench mark of 100 dvd’s.
And the fact, that it was not even a year before I started buying, collecting and watching it. Although, I can still remember the mexican telenovelas before. Yes, i am one of the most avid fan of Thalia , do you remember her Marimar, Rosalinda, Maria la Del Barrio days and do you still remember “Gata Salvaje” were the main lead actress name was “Rosaura” (which happens to be my surname. Well, i guess, it really runs from my blood to be a drama addict.
Korean drama’s are really beautiful although some of them are heart breaking and some are really frustrating. (Could you imagine watching 20 episodes giving you sleepless night, only to find out that the lead character will die or sometimes, they would not end up together. Oh, it was a very frustrating time for me but i guess, it’s just very natural for Korean dramas to have an ending like that. If that was a shown in the Philippines, there would really be drastic and violent reactions.
So, what do you think, am I really addicted to drama? What korean drama have you watched? I bet you also have your favorites. You can find some of my reviews on the right sidebar of this site. I hope i can find some time to review all of the dramas i have watched.

I’ve been addicted to drama series before way back when I was in P.I but not here in Norway! I am addicted to korean movies and drama series on TV but here hard to follow.
Anyway, your addiction is really to the higher level with DVD’s collection. Great!
I like watching Korean dramas not so much for the story but the actors and actresses are just so beautiful. Flawless skin and great clothes. I love it!
That’s quite a lot. My wife and I really not into Korean novelas but I was one of those who glued to Rosalinda before, back in my high school days. It was like a forced following since everybody in the family that time are into Rosalinda.
No offense meant but the MTRCB will be frustrated with this pic.
You know what I mean.
Cheers!
Wow, you have so many collections of Korean series. I also love Korean dramas just finish watching Dream High and will start watching Two Wives =)
please check my previous comment i think it went to spam thanks
You are as a fanatic as I was with Thalia. My goodness I remember very well that my mother beat me for being stubborn in going with her to work cuz I was anticipating for Thalia’s arrival caught on TV. I definitely was a huge fan then, until she got married to Mariah’s ex. Marimar was my fave of all telenovelas ever! Hands down, not even my second fave Latina actress Gabriela Spanic could topple her.
You sure can be qualified as Korean dram addict. I used to do that too, have Kdrama marathons, when I was still in college. I loved Full House, watched it 3x!
I also watched Gata Salvaje!
Iba’t ibang tripping lang ya sis. Whatever keeps mommy happy… GO…. A happy wife=a happy family.
I have never watch Korean movie
but I guess as long as you set your priorities then watching movie is a fun thing to do
I’m also an avid fan of marimar.. and also of korean movies and t.v series.. specially when I was in shanghai when I have nothing to do but watch dvd’s and t.v series.. sadly though I left most of my dvd’s in shanghai when we moved back here…
You are just 5 dvds short of becoming a certified Korean drama addict. LOL! But, hey, that’s an addiction that I won’t mind having also.
