What will you do when you suddenly felt that your in love with someone you have met and one day, you finally realized that all you have been trough mean nothing because he is not real.

Heaven’s postman or Postman to Heaven is a 2009 Korean Movie starring the handsome Kim Jae-Joong (JYJ) which is also his first starring movie  and Han Hyo Joo (Dong-Yi) , Shin Jaejoon is a free spirit guy who falls into coma after a vehicular accident, as a result he becomes a postman ( someone who delivers mails to heaven) for those grieving people who sends a letter to their love one.

On the middle of a fields a red mail box can be found where people who grieved on the lost of a love one send letter for them. His job is to read them and help them in anyway to ease those problems.   One day, he met a young woman Cho Hana who recently lost his boy friend.    The two decided to work with each other , Cho Hana felt that she is falling in love with Jaejoon but one day, she noticed that her vision of his is fading since the memory of grief for the lost of his boyfriend is also healing because of her new found love.

The time when Jaejoon needs to go finally comes and Hana was left with all just the memories .  Meanwhile, heaven decided to give jaejoon another chance and bring him back as a human.

He asked if the two weeks he was with Hana and the memory of her would fade but the guardian told him to see for himself.

The story is sweet and romantic and the faces of the two leads bring warmth to the heart. No wonder Jae Joong is one of the hearth throb actor/singer in Korea today because of his handsome face but his acting still needs to be improved.  Hyo Joo’s acting is somewhat like her character in Brilliant Legacy although i still look forward on watching her on a more serious character like her role in Dong Yi.

Overall the movie is good, i enjoyed it a lot.  It made me cry and realize that de ja vu as well as dream happen. The story has a good ending with Jae Joong becoming a postman and Hana an illustrator and they were able to keep their love which a hopeless romantic like me would want to be.

Hundred Year Inheritance – January 5, 2013  - Looks like Eugene is back and i surely missed her,  i have recently watched her husband “Ki Tae Young latest  KDrama To the beautiful you and wonder what will Eugene next project,  I definitely want them paired in another KDrama soon but i guess , i have to wait for now.  Looks like i need a lot of hanky on this drama but I don’t mind to cry as long as the story line is indeed touching.

Now, i wonder why Kpop artists won the major awards, it was perhaps their charisma has been spread all over the world.

Psy’s gangnam style is considered the most viewed video at Youtube having passed the 810 million views.  The song was also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records in September.

The music awards was watched by many asian viewers especially that well known groups like Super Junior, Bigbang, Taiwan sensation singer Wang Leehom, and other Kpop sensation will going to perform.

The event was hosted by South Korean actress Han Ga-in, Han Chae-young. Choi Ji-woo, Jackie Chan and actor  Jung Woo-sung.

Love Rain is a drama for those hopeless romantic viewers. From the director that brings Endless Love series , Yoon_Seok-Ho creates another masterpiece that every korean drama lovers would definitely watched. Considered as fifth installment for the Endless love series though there are no official words that it was part of it considering that the Endless love drama’s are about the four seasons yet, Love Rain is definitely a different version of the other four because although there is a part that you could not help for your tears to fall, the ending gives justice to make the story something to look forward to.

 Aired on KBS2 on March 2012, Love Rain stars the rising actor Jang Keun Suk (your’e my pet)  and Girl’s Generation YoonA.

It was a story of a love of two couple from the 1970′s while In Ha (Jang Keun Suk) was walking on the campus met Yoon He (yoona) and suddenly fells in love with her.  While accidentally bumping her, he was able to get her diary and learned that her favorite movie is “Love Story” .  On a rainy day, he offers to walk with her with his umbrella and from that moment, he feels that there is a bond between the two of them.  They agreed to meet again to watch the movie “Love Story”  but their love was never fulfilled because she needs to go away for a sickness she was suffering.

At the present time, Seo In Ha’s son, Seo Joon meet  Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na’s daughter on a train at Hokkaido.  Ha Na’s cellphone fell on Seo Joon, learning about this,  Ha na went to Seo Joon’s place to retrieve her cellphone but misses him for three times, at the last attempt he went to his hotel room only to found out that he was with another woman.

Several incidents happens that shows how troublesome the two of them together.  Back in South Korea , Ha Na found out that her picture was shown as a model on a flyer of a jewelry and she went to seek for Seo Joon.  Meanwhile,  In Ha did not forget his love for In Ha even after the fact that he marries her best friend, their marriage turns sour and affect Seo Joon.  He saw Yoon Hee on the street holding an umbrella and the two reconcile.

With the two adults back with their love, they did not know that their own children are already dating and was shocked when they announced that they will eventually marry each other.  Knowing her mother story and her love, Ha Na felt that they need to sacrifice her own feelings for the sake of her mother.  Although grieving for her love, she knew she had to stop seeing Seo Joon.  On the other hand, Seo Joon father  learned about his son’s love for Ha Na and how he was having a hard time, decided that he needs to sacrifice his own feelings for his son happiness and decided that the two of them should not get married.

At the end, they remain friends and Ha Na and Seo Joon’s love for each other prevails and what better way to end a happy story,  a wedding with a bride blushing on her beautiful wedding gown and a groom perfectly handsome on his coat and tie.

Now, i bet every woman would love to have YoonA’s wedding dress. If only i have seen this 6 years ago, I would probably would like my own wedding gown to be like this.

Another scene you would look forward is the kissing scene between the two main character.  The lines are indeed sweet and the kissing scene would blown you away.

I love how the story entangled the past and present love story and how the two adults sacrifice their own love for the love of their children. Although, this instances are rarely happen these days, the story shows the strong love of parents for their children even giving up their own happiness just to make them happy.  I guess, that’s one thing parent knows best.  Another point, i love with this drama is the beautiful places that you can see in the background, making me wish more to visit South korea someday.  I give this korean drama  8 stars out of 10. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

 If you haven’t seen the beautiful Ha Ji Won  away from her glamorous features, then you should definitely see this movie.  She portrayed a simple high school girl without any inhibitions. Although the story is somewhat lacking, the cat and dog fight scene between the two main leads is cute.

Choi Young enters the portal which leads to the modern world wherein Yoo Eun-soo (Kim Hee Seon) works as a plastic surgeon.  Choi Young believes that Yoo Eun Soo is the great doctor that can save their princess and find ways to convince her but Eun Soo refused to go with him thus Cho Young has no other choice but to take out his sword and slashed the neck of the man inside the convention hall, Eun Soo who was shocked of the events, tried her best to save the man.  Eun Soo and Choi Young went back on the temple where the portal lies and eventually reached the place where Princess Nogoog was lying almost lifeless.  Dr. Eun Soo was able to heal the wound and the princess regain her health.

They travel to Goreo and the journey of knowing the truth begins. Prince Gi Cheol a young and heartless person with great supernatural abilities  wishes to get Dr. Eun Soo for himself and plot a sickness for her making Choi Young to defies the King and  rob the royal stamp in exchange for a cure for Eun Soo’s sickness knowing in the end that they were only fooled by Prince Gi Cheol and the cure was not really as it was promised to be.

Because of her great desire to know the truth, Eun Soo agrees to marry Prince Gi Cheol with his trick that he will only give the pieces of the diary after their marriage rites which was eventually discovered by Choi Young who rushed on the palace to save his love for Eun Soo and the scene ended with a memorable kiss that makes the viewer wishing that they are the one next with Choi Young.

Although, there are some dragging parts on the story, I love how they were able to pull through a series of sweet confessions and conversations that can chill your heart and makes Choi Young more desirable.   In the end, Eun Soo discovered that she was eventually the travelling doctor who travels back in time to search and consummate her love with the general who happens to be Choi Young. The latter part shows the scene wherein she left clues for the future to be able to find her way to Choi Young.

Eun Soo defines a woman with a courageous heart, not just a great doctor but someone that is definite with her views in life, steadfast on her love and can do all just to be find her happiness.

Faith Korean Drama

Lee Min Ho who portrays Choi Young on the other hand shows that he is now grown enough to portray more mature roles rather than the sweet or bad boy image he portrayed in his past korean drama. With Faith, he was able to show his acting skill and of course his enigmatic charisma that draws more viewers to watch and patiently wait for the next episode.  (Lucky I, because i don’t need to wait for another day or another week to watch the episodes)

A drama with a traditional setting and political rivalries is expected to be heavy and moving but the character of Choi Young and Eun Soo gives a big emotional and sweet impact that makes it remarkably beautiful.  Although, many would find the ending to be hanging expecting something more, the journey of finding her love ends on the sweet smile on the lips of Choi Young and Eun Soo giving you a big sigh that somehow in the end, they were able to meet and it’s for the viewer to make the sweet conclusion. I guess, for a hopeless romantic like me, i expect a more sweeter ending but the smile of Min Ho completes the scene.

It is also somewhat funny because it’s not a coincidence that Faith was shown at the same time slot along with Arirang and the Magistrate wherein the main lead actor is Lee Jun Ki who is the first choice for the main character of Faith.  I guess, the television network only wanted to show Lee Jun Ki what he loses on not being able to get the part. But Faith and Arirang although with the same paranormal characters was set in different story and has their own strong points to be considered. Faith for me is one of the best korean drama for 2012 along side with Rooftop Prince who also shares a different plot of a prince who travel in time to find the truth of the death of his beloved princess.

 A 2011 fantasy melodrama by JTBC starring Jung Woo Sung as Yang Ka Chil , who serves 16 years in prison for a crime that he didn’t commit.  His detention was reduced to twelve years because of being a model inmate but he was sentenced for another four years because he was again framed up.  Before he is supposed to be release, he suffers a near death experience, only with the help of his guardian angel’ Gook-soo (Kim Bum- Boy’s Over Flowers) he was able to survive it and learned about his three miracles.

A month before his release, he was allowed by the Jail Warden along with Gook-so to go out in the city, in the train, he met Jang Ji-na ( Han Ji- min – Yi San , Rooftop Prince)  in unexpected and awkward situation.  Roaming around the city, he saw his old acquaintance who is also one of the key people who knew about the incident back on his youth and while running Yang Ka Chil was bumped by a car.

After his release, he went back to his hometown with his mother and worked as a carpenter, there he met again Jang Ji-na who happens to be a veterinarian. With the circumstances that lead to their frequent meeting, Yang Ka Chil falls in love with Ji-na knowing that she was the daughter of one of the person he vows to take revenge.

Ji-na despite her strong nature falls in love with Yang Ka Chil until one day he learned that he was the one convicted on killing his uncle which becomes the cause of the early death of her mother and the grief of her father. After learning the truth that her mother visited Yang Ka Chil in prison for seven years, she begun to feel sorry for him especially that he knows he was suffering with liver cancer.

The next episodes evolves on finding the truth and evidences and beautiful circumstances that draw the two protagonists more in love with each other but also hindrances that circles their relationships.

In the end, Yang Ka -chil chose to uncover the truth and the real culprit Chan Gul (Kim Joon sung) was finally bring to justice.  Ji na and Ka Chil spends the last of his days on a place they hoped to be, although days are hard, they were able to create beautiful memories.

Ka chil – diamond can’t break easily, so they think love also can’t break easily that’s why they are sometimes, careless to each other but this wooden ring can break easily unless you take care of it.  So we have to appreciate our love everyday and take care of our love, otherwise our love would be broken.

The last episode reminisce the good times of Kang-chil and Ji-na along with the other casts, it also gives the impression that it maybe the last few days of Kang chil since he is getting more sick because of his cancer.  Even before the last episode, i know that it will have a heart tearing ending, Kang Chil will eventually die and Ji-na will just be left with good memories of him but  a scene shows Ji-na writing an e-mail relating her day events, the story ends while she and Kang Chil going up to the mountain enjoying the snow which only shows that Kang -chil lives that makes a good ending after all because it can be considered as his last miracle.

The story can move hearts, although there are some episodes that are dragging and not to mention the title of the drama is somewhat uninteresting, over-all i enjoy the story even though it makes me cry so much after all, we all love happy endings.

 The story hopes the reader to believe that miracles do come true and if you have more love in your heart, revenge can be forgotten and forgiveness will follow.  Just one reminder ,  make sure you can stand to cry for a long time because each episodes has lines that can really break your heart and be prepared with your hankies.  One thing i also notice is that he loves to wear red and white stripes polo shirt that reminds me of my father which makes me cry more harder. 

Jung Woo Sung gives an impressing portrayal, different from his previous television series.  I can still remember how he laughs and makes me cry when he cry.  I bet Han Ji min heart aches too much in this drama because of the long and many scene that you can see her crying.  I specially love the scene wherein Jung Woo Sung said to let him go if that time comes and she should smile and go on with her life but cry and smile when he thinks of him. It was supposed to be a sweet moment but turns to be a serious, heart aching emotional moment.

Kim Bum on the other hand is grown to be a more mature actor, different from his boy next door character in Boys Over Flower.  In this drama, he shows that he is capable of doing more mature role and i couldn’t believe that his too thin and his hair has grown a lot. I guess, i still like him with his boy next door image, who know’s on his next series. i give this drama series 7 hearts out of 10. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
